The BLS certification is very similar to a CPR class with the primary focus of training geared toward the healthcare provider. Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Professionals provide in-depth training in the area of medical environment, chest compression fraction, realistic simulations of teams and patients, team CPR, AED use, and additional medical support such as equipment like oxygen masks, splinting and bleeding control.
- A full class is 3 1/2 to 4 hours in length.
- Private classes are offered for 6 or more people.
